The Director of Technology is responsible for the many facets of technology across the district. Every three years the Directors of Instructional Services, Technology and Tech Support work in collaboration with technology leaders across the district to develop the District Technology Plan, DTP. This plan outlines goals, objectives, strategies, and activities necessary to continue the process of integrating technology into the fabric of the district. In accordance with DTP, the Director of Technology oversees the integration of technology, the infrastructure, staffing, training, inventory, and budget. In addition, this office helps ensure that any application of technology, within the district, serves to improve the end result, whether the particular technology is primarily used for instruction, student projects, communication, productivity or management.
